Countdown of Election Day
Seyed Esmatullah “Mal”, Deputy Chairman and acting head of the Independent Election Commission of Afghanistan, has separately met and discussed with Yosuf Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of Free and Fair Election Forum of Afghanistan (FEFA) and Ali Bayati, from the UN Election Support Project (UNESP) in his office.
The IEC leadership briefed media on Dermalog’s report on identification of valid and non-standard votes.
The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) Management welcomed US Ambassador Mr. John Bass to the IEC HQ office on 14th October. "We thank the United States for its financial and technical cooperation. The Commission is committed to the transparency and impartiality in tallying of result sheets of election and the result which is acceptable will be announce."
In a press conference, the IEC Management provided the media and the public with the latest information on the tallying of result sheets of 28th September 2019 presidential election.
